Catch The Easter Bunny
Free eggs and hugs up for grabs if you can catch the bunny!
The Easter Bunny is on the loose at Bethlehem 🐰
We’ve got a bit of a situation this Easter Saturday… the Easter Bunny is officially on the loose at Bethlehem Town Centre.
Hop in and track her down between 10am and 2pm. She’ll be handing out free Easter eggs (while they last), along with free face painting to get the kids into the Easter spirit.
There’ll also be free Easter ballooning, because what’s Easter without a balloon bunny?
You’ll likely spot her starting outside Options Gifts… or bouncing around the Centre. Keep your eyes peeled — hugs are free too, if you’re quick enough to catch her.
Easter Saturday | 10am – 2pm

Meet the new owner of Immerse
There’s a new chapter unfolding at Immerse Nail & Beauty Therapy
We’re proud to welcome Charmaine as the new owner of Immerse Nail & Beauty – a name some long-time clients may already recognise. Charmaine began her career right here at Immerse nearly 18 years ago, spending four formative years learning not just the craft of skin therapy, but the importance of care, connection, and the confidence that great skin can bring.
Since those early days, Charmaine’s journey has taken her far and wide. After leaving Immerse, she moved to Perth, Australia, where she trained in advanced dermal therapies within a plastic surgery clinic. That experience shaped her passion for results-driven skin treatments that are thoughtful, supportive, and genuinely transformative.
After returning home to New Zealand, Charmaine went on to create Dermal Glow, now with clinics in Pāpāmoa and Ōhope, known for advanced skin treatments, education, and real results. And now, in a full-circle moment, she’s bringing that expertise back to Immerse — this time as its owner.
“I’m incredibly committed to protecting the calm, nurturing, spa-like experience that Immerse has always been known for,” says Charmaine. “Any evolution will be gentle, intentional, and always in the best interest of our clients.”
Over time, clients will see the thoughtful introduction of advanced skin technologies where they truly enhance results. Nothing rushed, nothing overwhelming. Just meaningful progress, delivered with care and integrity.
As part of this evolution, Immerse will be introducing two advanced professional skincare ranges that Charmaine has trusted and worked with throughout her career:
- iS Clinical, with a strong focus on anti-ageing, pigmentation, and rosacea
- DMK, designed to support more complex skin concerns including acne, congestion, and sensitivity
Rest assured, the much-loved ranges many clients already enjoy will remain, including Janesce, Lira, and Pure Fiji.
All existing appointments, treatment plans, and gift vouchers remain unchanged, and the Immerse team is here to make this transition smooth and supportive.
We’re excited to see this next chapter unfold and can’t wait for you to experience the future of Immerse at Bethlehem Town Centre.

How’s this for a change of scenery at your local? – Columbus Coffee are supporting local art in store with an art show featuring paintings by local artist Nik Williams from Saturday 10th January. Nik will be in store to discuss his work, and workshops for budding artists.
More about the artist:
Kia ora, I’m Nik Williams — an artist and full-time teacher based here in Tauranga.
Originally from the south coast of England, I spent over 20 years teaching there before making the move across the world with my Kiwi wife, Melissa, and our two daughters, Zara and Bella. We’ve called Tauranga home for the past seven years, and I currently teach at Ōtūmoetai Intermediate School, where I have the privilege of nurturing young creative minds every day.
I create my landscape paintings using an unconventional tool — old credit cards as well as traditional brushes, pallet knives and other found materials. I use the edges of the cards to drag, scrape, and layer paint across the surface. It’s a technique that gives my work a raw, textured energy and allows me to capture the movement and unpredictability of the natural world.
What I love about this method is the freedom it offers. I’m not focused on fine detail — I’m chasing mood, rhythm, and atmosphere. The cards let me work quickly and intuitively, building up layers that reflect the ever-changing nature of the landscapes I’m inspired by.
For me, painting this way is just as much about the process as it is the final piece. It’s a bit messy, a bit unpredictable — and that’s exactly why I keep coming back to it.
I recently had an exhibition at the Incubator Gallery in the Historic Village, Tauranga.
If you are interested in purchasing any of my original art or giclee prints, please contact me through my website. I am also running another workshop at the Creative Community campus in the Historic Village on Saturday 17th Jan. Bookings and information can be made through their website.
